1. Who we are

MyPoll (“we”, “us”) operates the service at mypoll.app where people answer live polls, see results and earn Ask Credits. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.

2. What we collect

When you create an account and use the product we may collect:

• Account data — email, display name, @handle, password hash, avatar;
• Profile details you choose to add — date of birth, gender, city, interests (used to match polls to audiences);
• Activity — polls, answers, reactions, comments, invite codes, Ask Credit movements;
• Technical data — IP address (sign-up / abuse prevention), device type, language and theme preferences, and a push token if you enable notifications;
• Cookies and similar tech — session, language, theme and other essential preferences.

3. How we use it

We use personal data only to run the product:

• Creating accounts, authenticating you and keeping the service safe;
• Delivering polls to a suitable audience;
• Settling results, ratings and Ask Credits;
• Sending notifications (if enabled) and providing support;
• Detecting abuse, fraud and technical issues;
• Improving the product with aggregated, non-identifying statistics.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share it with trusted processors who help with hosting, email, analytics and push delivery — only as needed for their work, under contract.

We may disclose data when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Your public profile and closed-poll results are visible to other users inside the product.

5. Retention and security

We keep data for as long as your account needs it, and as required for legal obligations and dispute resolution. Passwords are stored hashed. We use industry-standard safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing support@mypoll.app. Some records (for example already-published results or the credit ledger) may be retained for audit and legal reasons.

The service is intended for people 18 and older.
